Canto Nuevo features a combination of native artists from Central and South America and modern artists who preserve a rich and historical music genre. Canto Nuevo includes romantic and inspiring sounds with flutes, strings, and drums that communicate a progressive and positive message of social justice and humanity. It originated in the Iberian Peninsula in the '70s and '80s and it played an essential role in pro-democracy movements of Latin America. Canto Nuevo is still relevant today because it is the voice of indigenous populations and activists.
