The International Network of People Who Use Drugs (INPUD) recently organized a panel discussion on why and how people who use drugs should be at the center of advancing policy towards decriminalization of drugs, drawing from examples of peer leadership on harm reduction and the COVID-19 response. We hear from some of the speakers including Annie Madden, a PhD Candidate at the University of New South Wales; Richard Elliott; Executive Director, HIV Legal Network; and Torbjørn Brekke, Senior Drug Policy Advisor, Norwegian Ministry of Health and Care Services.
