Self Help Radio 072622: Ponies
When I was a kid, I wanted a pony. As an adult, I have to settle for a show about ponies.
Luckily it's full of lots of songs about ponies. You can't ride them, but still. Also there are many conversations: with my friend Jarvis, who has a pony; with a fellow who wants to start a new Pony Express, Mark Vega; & with Clay Brody, who wants to give pony rides in Portland. Also two of our favorite people come by: librarian Carole, to talk about books about ponies; & cinephile Chuck, who talks about movies featuring ponies.
Not as enjoyable as a pony, but hopefully an adequate radio replacement.
