We demand that our storms and floods and fires be explained properly! The news and the experts seem to assume these events as inanimate events, as if nature had a mechanical breakdown.
In the age of AI, UFOs and quantum physics, we are still clinging to our human centrism. Get over that. Honeybees have language and unprecedented one-celled animals have been witnessed marching out of solid rock a mile under the surface of the Earth. But we can't believe that a tsunami, say, is thinking something? Stop it with your Nature "prove it to me" attitude. Disasters are messages; we are safer when we treat them with some respect.
