In addition to the interview, there is a Vegan News segment pertaining to current federal legislation and local bills. Chelsea and Sarina share their wealth of experience and knowledge to explain a variety of ways you can make a difference to protect animals and the environment.
Frequent guest of the show, Chelsea V Davis, aka, Veggies Do It Better, is a longtime vegan, community organizer, and entrepreneur. Over the last 13 years, Chelsea has organized hundreds of vegan events ranging from protests and marches, local VegFests to international conferences, activist panels to fundraisers and that’s just the beginning! Chelsea’s focus on collaboration and community building brought her to co-founding the Animal Rights Collective Portland (ARCPDX). Her latest projects include starting the Portland Vegan Night Market and co-founding the International Vegan Earth Day March.
Sarina Farb is a Midwest-based vegan educator, public speaker, and liberation activist working to make the world a better place for all beings. Being born and raised vegan in Kansas taught Sarina to think for herself and to stand for justice even when it’s unpopular. Today, Sarina focuses on combining heart and science to empower individuals to think critically, see past corporate propaganda, and to live ethically. Her projects include creating content for her Born Vegan platform, hosting the Science is Gray Podcast, and touring the country in her vegan van giving lectures and presentations about veganism. She is the co-founder and International march coordinator of the Vegan Earth Day March.
