Our guests, Brother Jamal Dar and Brother Askina Sarif outline the need for their 15-year-old organization and the multiple offshoot programs created with the expressed intent to address complex challenges African families undergo here in Oregon. AYCO has a specific distinction of utilizing graduates from their programs to interact with new participants facilitating an atmosphere of familiarity to maximize on their mission to ‘settle the past, engage the present and hope for the future.
