Black Parents Asked To Take Action In Their Child's School

A series of conversations will be happening during the start of the new year of 2016. Concerned fathers whose children attend Boise-Eliot school are asking other parents to take active roles in the direction of their child’s education with Portland Public Schools. Listen to this latest podcast which captures the first of four series called 'State of Emergency Plan of Action'. Listen to the kick-off of this series by facilitators Karanja Crews and Kory Murphy....fathers who have children that attend Boise-Eliot.
A PPS school board-member was also in attendance.
The next State of Emergency Plan of Action parent listening session will be January 7, 2016, and food and child-care will be provided.
