The UBU HOUR is on suspension, so tonight we debut a new radio theater show, THE MIME RADIO THEATER PROJECT, bringing the art of mime to the radio for the very first time ever. For our 1st show we bring MIMIN' WITH THE LYMAN'S, a 7 to 8 member mime troupe from the Seattle area, who will provide an hour of mime for a studio audience as well as the listeners out in the airwaves.
As for the UBU HOUR, this was what would have aired if not for the suspension:
THE BROTHERS KARAMATZOH - Welcome to another exciting episode of the 1930s radio play, THE BROTHERS KARAMATZOH - the story of a mediorce comedy team from New York City. On tonight's Ubu Hour, we present ACT TWO -- an introduction to Milton, the fourth, and least talented Karamatzoh Brother. He can't sing, he can't dance, he can't tell jokes But boy, can he sell furniture.
THE NOTORIOUS LIL KIM PIECE - The less we say about this sketch, the better. You'll just have to tune in to see how bad it is...
THE UNSPEAKABLE - Trying to find the right words.. Situations where there are no words.. circling around to try to find meaning.. What happens when we try to put voice to... THE UNSPEAKABLE?
