Despite all evidence to the contrary, certain economic myths persevere in conservative circles.
There are two economic myths that persist in conservative circles, no matter how often objective reality proves them wrong. The first is the claim that everyone does better when the rich are taxed less; the second is that there is an epidemic of laziness out there, and that roughly half of America -- curiously, the largely liberal and nonwhite half -- is somehow on the dole. Following on last week's discussion on the situation in Greece, Abe and Joe lead a discussion on macroeconomics in the USA.
