On tonight's show, we're throwing in the towel on radio. It's a legacy medium, at least that's what Carl Crowley keeps telling me. People don't listen to the radio anymore, Carl says. They're too busy watching movies, esp. those new-fangled talkies.
But given that we're a radio show, we can't exactly show movies. However, we can talk about them, play audio excerpts, and listen to comedians making fun of them. As a bonus, our special guest is Jeff "Punk Rock" Martin, proprietor of The Joy Cinema and Pub, the coolest movie house in Tigard and environs.
So grab a bowl of popcorn, and a vat of carbonated high-fructose corn syrup, and join us. And remember to silence those cellphones!
