Janitors discuss their struggle for $15, healthcare and safe workloads
Janitors working in Portland's big office buildings and at Intel in Hillsboro are represented by the Service Employees local 49. On June 15 they held a spirited rally and march through downtown. On June 30, their union contract expires. The janitors are demanding a $15 wage, affordable healthcare and safe workloads. Co-hosts Jamie Partridge and John Walsh interview a local janitor about their struggle for justice.
