Interviews with John Burt, Tonya Haworth, Marisha Auerbach, and Naomi Pomeroy

There is a group of farmers who have come together to donate portions of their harvest to the Oregon Food Bank. John Burt, the executive director of Farmers Ending Hunger, talks about the mission of the organization and they work they are doing in Oregon.

The biennial organic food conference, Organicology, is coming up in Februrary. Tonya Haworth, a conference organizer and marketing communications manager at Organically Grown Company, gives us a preview of this years conference.

There is a new cookbook that will be of interest to the home cook that wants to take their practice to the next level. Naomi Pomeroy, James Beard award winning Portland chef, released Taste and Technique this past fall. On the show, Naomi talks about the book as well as her history with food.

As always, we'll have a check-in with permaculturist Marisha Auerbach to talk about your frosty garden. You can find more information about Marisha and her classes on her website.
