As KBOO News reported last week, Trimet has released the results of a study showing increased use of bicycles on Max trains in Portland.
But while the Max has made provisions for bicyclists, the Portland streetcar has no place for bikes.
Saed Bannoura says he experienced discrimination as a disabled bicyclist while trying to board the streetcar yesterday: <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office">

That was Saed Bannoura, who says he was unfairly targeted by a streetcar driver for the crime of 'riding while disabled'.  Bannoura says that the Protland streetcar should make provisions for handicapped bicyclists, similar to what is available on the Max
