KBOO reporter Sam Bouman speaks with Dan Hemry of Phoenix Copwatch, who was at the Tuesday, August 22, 2017 protest in Phoenix against the President's rally. They discuss the scene at the protest, the police response, and Copwatch's dealings with former Maricopa County Sheriff--and current defendant in federal court for racial profiling--Joe Arpaio.

The President intimated during the rally that he may pardon Arpaio. Many news outlets reported yesterday that the White House already has paperwork ready for Arpaio's pardon, only missing the President's signature.

Police cleared the protest after the rally will pepper rounds, tear gas, and flash bang grenades, arresting four.
