Original music from new duo of gifted instrumentalists and singer-songwriters
Singer-songwriter and Black Praire vocalist Annalisa Tornfelt has graced the Songcircle airwaves twice before, with her guitar and the exotic nyckelharpa in tow. Her latest project is a duo with the Portland Cello Project’s Gideon Freudmann, who combines classical, folk, and pop motifs in his own work, and knows his way around a clever lyric himself. We’ll hear what this combination of beloved Portland players is up to when they drop by the BOO to tell us about their brand-new album, Unraveling, and share some tunes live. Plus, speaking of “Boo!”, a few spooky songs for Halloween and some other tricks and treats.
