With the Bush administration pushing for a number of free trade agreements before they leave office, local groups are organizing to oppose these agreements.
Groups like the Oregon branch of the AFL-CIO, the Oregon Sierra Club, the Oregon Fair Trade Campaign, and a number of local unions have called for an end to free trade agreements that outsource Oregon jobs to other countries.
Latter tonight, the groups will hold a seminar on the Future of Trade, here in Portland.
Arthur Stamoulis with the Oregon Fair Trade Campaign, speaks on the 'Future of Trade' event to be held in Portland tonight.
