In her first hour, Marcia Hocker interviews educator Dan Davey, Director of Jazz Studies at Mt. Hood Community College, and Director of the upcoming Mt. Hood Jazz Festival. Her second hour, will be with Los Angeles, CA Jazz drummer, arranger, educator and composer, Willie Jones III.
At 2pm, Bob Riddle continues the JAM session with a focus on the multi-talented Jon Batiste, presenting him live at the Village Vanguard among other settings. Later in the show, we turn our attention to Charles Mingus.
